GATE REPAIRS (SEPT 2026)
We are aware of the intermittent gate-access issues affecting some residents and are working diligently with our gate company to restore the system to full reliability.
Under no circumstances should anyone physically push or force the gates open. Recent attempts to force the gates have caused significant damage, created additional system errors, and required multiple service visits. The entrances are monitored by security cameras, and the Association has clear, time-stamped photographs and video of these incidents, including the individuals involved and the license plates of their vehicles.
If a gate does not open with your code or clicker, please report the issue to management rather than attempting to open it manually.
Additionally, threats or harassment directed at any Board member will not be tolerated. Nevada law specifically prohibits threats and harassment involving HOA Board members under NRS 116.31184. Any such conduct may be documented and referred to the appropriate authorities.
Although the gates operate correctly most of the time, we understand that occasional failures are frustrating. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we work to resolve the remaining issues.

No Overnight Street Parking Within Montecito
Due to a handful of permanently parked vehicles being stored on Montecito streets, S.C.S. parking enforcement is now tagging and towing vehicles.
If you receive an orange parking violation sticker, that is your one warning. The vehicle is now tagged, photographed and digitally documented. You will have 72hrs to move the vehicle off the street. If the same vehicle is seen anytime within a 6 month period on any Montecito street, it will be automatically towed at the owner's expense by Ashley Towing, regardless of obtaining a Southern Highlands parking variance.

If your garage and driveway are both fully occupied with 4 vehicles and you need a 72hr temporary parking pass for a guest, please contact the Montecito board at 702-546-6889
